Perfect location within walking distance of Rutland Water, great little walks around village for those short dog walks, Oakham is a beautiful little town. The cottage is perfect with added extras and more, a bowl of water ready for our dog and a chilled jug of water in fridge for us, lovely atmosphere and loads of history of which Caterine has written lots of various information, all in all a great stay at Primrose Hall.

It is difficult not to repeat what previous reviewers have said. Beautifully appointed property equipped to the highest standard - with the inclusion of toiletries, bathrobes, towels and comfortable bedding. In addition to which, there was a bowl of fruit, a vase flowers, a bottle of wine and dogie treats in the fridge.

Empingham is a charming village with a mix of properties and good for dog walking.

I have already recommended it to a friend.

A charming place in a beautiful village. The best equipped/stocked accommodation I have ever stayed at. Catherine had clearly gone the extra mile to have everything you might want and every bit of information ready about local attractions, walks and eating places. Everything was clean and everything worked. A great little holiday.

Enjoyed our time catching up with family and friends. Lovely little cottage had everything we needed. Special touches of wine, Easter chocolate and flowers was a nice surprise. Communication with Catherine was excellent and Simon was there to welcome us on arrival.

The location was perfect, the cottage itself was amazing. There were lots of nice touches like a bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit waiting for us. Thank you Catherine for a lovely break.
