When on IOM it is imparative to take in the Seven Kingdoms which can only be done atop Snaefell Mountain. And the unobstructed views of the racers are the icing on the cake.

Pre-booking is essential and you make your starter and main course choices at the same time. You can choose a dessert on the night. Only operates Wednesdays and Saturdays during summer and there are two sittings. Price includes return travel on electric railway and mountain railway and 2 courses so great value for money. Food was delicious and staff so friendly and helpful. For dining with a difference this is a must

We were fortunate to be able to go up Snaefell. I would do your best to plan around the weather - it was snowy on the top when we went in April. But the restored cars were lovely and lots of wildlife to see on the way up.

Lucky to see the 7 Kingdoms today: nice gentle climb using the electric train up thought about walking back down but a local advised not to as track fairly overgrown in places so was lazy and returned by train

The scenery all around the summit of Snaefell is absolutely wonderful. You can see for miles in any direction and on clear days you can see Ireland. Snaefell is a lovely place to visit and we would recommend it
