We visited on a Sunday but the view was thick fog (train to the top!). So we went back Monday. Parked at Bungalow and walked up to the top. Brilliant views.

It's a great view from up here on a good day, but even a dull day is good. The ride up is good, too.

Always wanted to up snaefell. It was very good, although it was cold and windy. Could not quite see the 5 countries from the top but got some great photos. My wife stopped in the cafe while I took photos. She said it was expensive. £3 for a coffee and it was nothing special. Of course it us a captive market.

The Isle of Man's only mountain. The legend is that you can see 7 kingdoms (Mananan (the sea), Heaven, Man, Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales) but this depends on the cloud base. The trig point at the summit shows where you are looking and what you might be able to see. Get the train up to save the walk. Good cafe at the top to warm you up.
