Searching for a three night break in S Wales on the internet we came across this hotel and also found that whilst dogs were not allowed in the hotel bedrooms, they are welcome in some of the cottages and static homes which are all part of the hotel so we decided to take our 2 dogs staying in a large static home. This was ideal as only 100yards from the hotel but quiet with a large area to exercise them. Breakfast was very good and wholesome and we also used the restaurant each evening. A varied menu of well prepared and cooked dishes normally found in pricier restaurants. All the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is located at one end of a very long and lovely beach and our visit was most relaxing and enjoyable. We will return.
If you are taking a dog there is a very pleasant side room to the side of the main restaurant where they are also welcome.

I had been here a few years ago for dinner so decided to come back as we were riding back from the Brecon Beacons to Saundersfoot. Well it was well worth the wee detour.
We had the burger and the fish and chips. Lovely large piece of well cooked fish, chips, mushy peas & tartar sauce, it was so tasty. My mate had the burger and he said it was great. Siting out overlooking the beach and pier while eating was glorious. I will pick them up on one thing , a half a pint of prawns for £17, what a rip off. For comparison a Pint of prawns in a pub in Saundersfoot was £9. Felt fairly eye gouged by that one. The value on the rest of the menu was good though. Would be a lovely place for a getaway for a few days.

What a location for a fabulous wedding in the sunshine with the tide full in. Food was good especially the breakfast. The room was comfortable and very clean and quiet. Enjoyed our stay and will come back

We're so glad you enjoyed your wedding and especially the food.

We do hope you'll come back at some point for a short break or overnight stay and maybe try our restaurant food as well, as that has recently won Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2018 in the Welsh Food Awards!

Having used the Hotel on many occasions and found the staff fantastic nothing to much trouble
We have an aunt near by so easy to stay with our dog
We were on a visit and the weather was beautiful
Time to get some food so arrived at the Oxwich
We had a table out side
Both went for the sea food salad board
Sounded both healthy and impressive
Smoked salmon, cockles , prawns with salad all sounded very nice on a sunny afternoon
Was not really a salad however the smoked salmon was wonderful and the cockles
The prawns, well having to peal them bit of a pain but also loads were full of eggs which meant that both of us had to leave
To messy to be classed a a salad more of a sharing platter
In our opinion serve peeled prawns
A bit of a disappointment

We're sorry that you were disappointed by the sea food salad board and we will feed this back to our kitchen team and look at options. The dish doesn't name salad, and it's designed for 1 person, so not really a sharing platter... hence the name "Fish Board", which we think is the best description of what it is. It does say in the description that they are "shell on prawns" and we have been to places elsewhere where this has meant they do have eggs, however, we will discuss this with our team and see whether other customer feedback has been positive or negative on the prawns and see where we go from there in terms of changing to peeled prawns, or sticking with shell-on.

We do hope you'll come back and give us another try at some point.
