In the pretty village of Summonte, a pearl of cleanliness near Naples, we got a fantastic lunch with the grace of the hostess, a local signora always smiling, a great cook of traditional home style. We had a very nice starter based on truffle flavours (summertime truffle), a mezze maniche, a short kind of pasta,, with an exquisite sauce of Aglianico wine, local red wine, and sausages. As main course we had a tastefull scamorza cheese cooked with honey and hot pepper. The Signora offered to us a nice green and tomato salad, local produces of her garden.
She suggested also a very nice red wine. All was elegantly presented and final surprise was the very honest bill. A real gem of the culinary treasures in Italy.
