This family run restaurant is not to be missed if you visit Atripalda. We ate here three years ago and returned to enjoy it a second time. The owner waits table and his wife cooks. This is not going to be a fast meal. Everything is prepared to order with great care. The antipasti comes out in bowls, and they keep coming and coming: green beans both cooked and marinated, fresh mozzarella, fresh ricotta, a meatball marinated in balsamic, roasted zucchini. We lost track of all the dishes. Fresh pasta which was sublime. When my husband couldn't decide which meat he wanted the owner said he would do a plate with both. The meal ended with a variety of homemade liquors being placed on the table for us to sample. They were all delicious but the liquoriza was mind-blowing!!! If you are a black liquorice fan this is for you. Very different from Sambuca. I went on a hunt when in Calabria and brought back to bottles. Now to see if they are as good as the homemade one!! We are looking forward to eating here again. We will be back as this is the town of my husband's father.
