“Idyllic quaint one up one down apartment”
Reviewed 27 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Axbridge is a wonderfully quaint picturesque village / town to base oneself for exploring the mendips and Somerset levels. It is in easy reach of beautiful countryside for hill walking, light treking and easy or ambitious cycle rides along quiet roads and route 26 cycle way. Cheddar gorge and caves, Wells and Glastonbury are within a short distant. The apartment is well equipped and full of character. The owners are delightful and helpful. Ample street parking is a minute away. An excellent choice!

“Just perfect”
Reviewed 27 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

Perfect locatIon within the county(Cheddar gorge 5 minutes away) and village, step outside and you have the village pub, 100 meters away from the square and we were lucky to be there for the Saturday local produce market.. The place is perfectly sized with all amenities and so welcoming, just like our hosts. Thank you, Sarah.

“Lovely accommodation for a couple”
Reviewed 23 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

The Garden Room is right in the ancient town of Axbridge so very convenient for pubs and restaurants. It is near Cheddar Gorge, Weston Super Mare and Burnham on Sea so there is plenty to do in the area. The accommodation is very well equipped with everything we needed supplied. There was a good supply of DVDs and the wifi worked well. There is no parking at the property but it was always easy to find parking nearby. The owner was very helpful and it seemed as though she really wanted us to have a nice time.

“Lovely, Relaxing, Friendly & Cosy”
Reviewed 8 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

A lovely, cosy place with plenty of character. A real pleasure to wake up, open the curtains to be greeted by the beautiful view of a morning mist rolling over the scenic Cheddar valley fields. Everything you need for a relaxing stay in the historic, medieval village of Axbridge and a warm welcome from lovely hosts Sarah & Rob who made us feel so comfortable. The only negative thing I can say was it wasn't long enough!

“qwerky, comfortable, and great location”
Reviewed 17 May 2015 for a stay in March 2015

The Garden room is more spacious than it looks from the outside, everything you could want is available, its warm and comfortable, Sarah and her family who live in the main house ( lovely Georgian building ) are very friendly and helpful.
The location is perfect to see all the main attractions of Somerset.
The Lamb Inn, and the Crown are both good value for food and drink, and the tea rooms provide a great breakfast if you don't want to cook, all are within 200 yards of the house.
All in all we had a great stay.
