Well-equipped house with a lovely view over the Fjord! This review refers to the medium-sized houses for 3 people: It is more a camping "hytter" than a hotel (you need to bring towels and bed linen or pay extra for them, and also clean the house yourself in the end or pay). Given that, it is relatively expensive - but we definitely enjoyed our time there. There are a few hikes around there, although mostly more difficult ones for hikers with some step security. Downside was that there was basically no wifi in the hytter (only in the not-so-cosy communal area with the reception), staff could be a little more friendly, the beds are rather for two adults and a smaller child, and the bathroom was a bit sub-standard.

Staff at the reception was rude and not helpfull at all.Not friendly at all with the guest!!!
Internet is not working in the bungalow!!! You need to go to the reception to check your email.
We informed the staff about this issue but the reply was always the same:we just restart internet...
The cabin was very small even for 3 adults.
1 bed of 120cm... you cannot sleep properly at 2.
1 single bed in a tiny room.
One of us was obliged to sleep on the floor on the matress pad...as it's not possible to sleep confortably at 2 adults in the bed of 120cm.
The room with the single bed looks as a cupboard!!!
The bathroom was very big ... even biggest than the bedroom.
The view is nice that 's the only positive point of the place.
Very expensive according to the confort of the cabin. It is overpriced.
An advice:avoid this overpriced camping!!!

Avoid this place like the plague. Camping for luxury hotell prices. If you like being stuffed in a broom closet then this is the place for you. They lie about the amount of people that fit in their tool shed like cabins. Unusable furniture, poorly eqipped kitchen, no storage. The boats cost 5 times more to rent. You can rent a whole house at this price!

We stayed with a family of 5 in a two-bedroom cottage in Fjordcamp. The location and view from the cottages is amazing, it has a nice playground and the facilities are clean. But... the cottage is really small for 5 persons. Trying to fit 5 around the table is almost impossible. The beds are all bunk bed, so forget as couple trying to sleep comfortable together in one bed. The area around the cottages looks like one big parking area; which it basically also is for mobilhomes. The people at reception were really not helpful. I asked eg which hiking routes they would recommend in the area. They just looked at me like I asked the weirdest question ever and could recommend none. Internet connection was also very , not working most of the time. So, my opinion, to avoid. You can stay at much nicer places in Norway.

-not a best in class welcoming, we had to wait 20min for somebody to arrive at reception to give us a key to the room, not a great thing if you are tired from road and dreaming about moment of rest; there was no indication when booking about working hours of reception etc.
- feels like it is at the end of the world - the location is just amazing. You can't ask for a better summer escape
- clean, decent size of the salon with the big windows and some stunning views
- cabin well equipped, well heated
- bedroom quite small with an unusual bunk bed
- in spite of the small flaws highly recommended and it is a must see/visit when traveling on Lofoten
