Our only regret is that we only had a two-day stay here. This is a well-kept property very conveniently located next to two grand old palaces in Schleissheim (which make for an excellent morning walk after the substantial fruhstuck).
The hotel has plenty of free parking (indoor and outdoor). Be aware that if you park in the garage you'll need to locate the rope in the middle of the drive that you need to pull to open the garage door (very interesting!).
Check-in and check-out were very simple. Staff speak several languages and can even understand my heavily-accented German (!). Our room was very clean with a new TV and very comfortable mattress. The bathroom was well-maintained with a nice shower and tub. The swimming pool (downstairs) and sauna are in good shape and the room is decorated with a Roman theme.
The morning breakfast is very substantial with a variety of choices to get your blood sugar right up there. The sausages were especially good.
Most people don't get to Schleissheim because their travel agent or bus driver points them in the direction of Dachau. This hotel is another reason to give Schleissheim a few days of your vacation time.

Room Tip: The entrance to the palace grounds is just south of the hotel entrance. Make sure you enjoy a morning stroll on the palace grounds.

We stayed here for one night. Indoor Pool was reasonable, free parking. Breakfast was included and enough. They have nearby walks in garden.
Room was clean. It is very quiet area. Only ten minutes drive to Allianz Arena.
Front office staff were helpful.
I will stay again.

We chose this location because of its proximity to the airport as we were to stay here for 2 nights after our 2 week trek through Bavaria. We were pleasantly surprised by the charm and amenities! The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Also appreciated the central air conditioning! A rarity in Europe!!
The staff was very accommodating and helpful... we rented bikes for half a day to cruise around town.
The restaurant across the street was great... traditional German food offerings but only open for dinner. Note, there are not a lot of options for lunch/grocery within walking distance of this hotel.
Enjoyed the quietness of the area and the close proximity to the grounds of the Schliessheim Palace. What a beautiful area! It was great place to end to our 2 weeks family trip! Would stay here again.

I have seen some hotels near Munich recently and this one is surprisingly good. Although it is located about 7km from Garching, you can quickly get there by a bus from a bus stop situated under your very nose.
The hotel itself is not in general "hotelish" style (Hilton, Novotel, Ibis etc) but in traditional Bavarian. And still you have all goodies like swimming pool, sauna, bar, good WiFi, teapot and glasses, minibar in a room, electronic safe and so on. Breakfasts are also great. Every day fresh and tasty however if you stay a little longer than for a week you might get bored.
Also rooms and beds could be bigger and sometimes you need to ask to turn on heating in your room.

Overall rating: 5/6

I was staying for business at a location nearby, and chose this property. It is a traditional German hotel and very well done. The staff were friendly and helpful, the decor nice, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. The hotel restaurant is across the street, and had a very good variety of both German and European cuisine. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Munich.
