“Great cottage in a lovely little village”
Reviewed 20 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We had a great stay here. The cottage is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Coldingham bay (take your wetsuits and surf /boogie boards) which has rocks, sand and waves in plenty - what more could you ask for? If you want more, the cliff-top walks along the coast north past St Abbs head or south down to Eyemouth are lovely - not terribly strenuous but very scenic. Its a short drive to Coldingham for excellent pub food at the Heathers (try the fresh Scampi - although the beer is less good) and there are a couple of good cafes in St Abbs and the Friday Market in the old school hall is well worth a visit.
The cottage, which sits a street back from the top of the cliff, was clean and met all our needs. It is obviously well used. Overall a lovely place to get away for a short break.

St. Abbs is a delightful place with fantastic walks and breathtaking views. Brierydean is a lovely cosy property with all you need for a relaxing evening after an active day. The conservatory and garden are real bonuses. Pamela is kind and helpful and sorted out a problem we had within 24 hours.
Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday.
Would definitely book again.

St Abbs is beautiful, and small and friendly. Brierydean gave us a perfect base for a relaxing long weekend. Definitely has a homely feel and enough space for us all to kick back and enjoy each other's company.
