Reviewed 20 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The welcome pack was a pleasant surprise! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen.
The location was convenient for many sites and locations. This is our first visit to Topsham and we will definitely make a return visit!
Many "Thanks" to Jo and Andrew for the accommodation provided - 10/10.
We will definitely recommend Churchview.

“great apartment”
Reviewed 5 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

ChurchView is the top of our list of great rentals. Very spacious, extraordinarily well equipped, lovely furnishings and huge kitchen. Everything is spotless too, and in top condition. Excellently placed in this lovely old town, shops, pubs, walks, river views - all on the doorstep. Highly recommended.

Delightful flat in the heart of Topsham. One minute to restaurants, two minutes to the harbour.
Huge kitchen, large and comfortable sitting room, beautiful master bedroom, and TWO bathrooms--what a plus with three people sharing!
Thank you for the delicious welcome basket--the cream tea was just what we needed on arrival.
Lots of books and DVDs for evenings at home. High-quality linens. Tasteful décor; clean, simple, and appropriate. Nice touches, like a picnic basket to borrow for expeditions.
Loved the view from the kitchen window, which is into the churchyard, and the sound of the church bells when they were rung.
Favourite meal was takeout from the local Indian place that we brought home and ate while watching a movie. After three weeks on the road, we were thoroughly tired of sitting in restaurants!
I was a bit surprised when I realized the flat is over a shop and (I believe) under another flat. (That info may have been in the listing, I can't remember, but if it was, I obviously missed it.) In any case, it was no problem at all, never heard a sound from the shop below and only a few slight creaks from above.
A word to the wise: this is definitely not a place for people with mobility issues. The steps up to the flat are narrow, steep, uneven, and curve around (like a circular staircase, so you have only tiny, shallow steps around the bend).
There are handrails to assist. I was able to manage, although I have a prosthetic knee. However, I always went very slowly and carefully.
The only other thing to mention is the parking. Be careful, we were ticketed for street parking, even though my husband had just gone down to move the car. The nice lady from the shop even explained to the officer that we were foreigners who didn't know that was a no park zone (not that this is any excuse, but it was kind of her to try). However, there was no mercy shown.
So be aware of the stairs and the parking, but beyond that, just a excellent rental.

Beautiful large apartment in the lovely village of Topsham close to the waterfront with lots of nice eating places within walking distance. We ate at The Globe, L'estuaire, The Lighters Inn and the Galley - all were excellent.
Loved the cream tea which was left for us in the apartment - a lovely treat.

“Centrally located, comfortable and will go back!”
Reviewed 7 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

Stayed over NYE with my husband and two kids and already want to go back to stay. Topsham is a real gem with loads of cafe, shops, bars and restaurants all on the door stop. As well as the river Exe, so loads of walks and many beaches down the road.
Appt has everything you would need on your stay, with very comfortable beds, sofa's and even a real Christmas tree and lovely smelly candles.
Finally a lovely tray of welcome goodies including the best mince pies ever
