“Well appointed accommodation along with excellent service.”
Reviewed 30 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The property was well equipped, very clean and comfortable with lots of room to move around for us four adults and would have accommodated another person with ease. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery to enable us to use the dishwasher to its full capacity. The separate utility area was useful for drying towels and bathing suits after swimming in Topsham pool. We were met by Adina herself who provided us with a cream tea reception and a lovely bottle of wine in the fridge. Topsham itself is a lovely town which we know well. It was my son in law's first stay and he was enthralled especially with the rare bird sighting he saw from the bird hide on the RSPB reserve on Bowling Green Marsh. As well as Topsham itself it is a good centre to get out to other places. We went as far as Lyme Regis and Clovelly and more locally to Otterton from Budleigh Salterton as well as many other locations including Dartmoor. This property is excellent and I would recommend it to others unreservedly.

“Home away from home”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Adina greeted us with fresh scones, jam and cream and a welcoming personality. She took us through her lovely cottage in this quaint English village, explaining how everything worked.
We loved staying here and our only regret was having to leave!

“Wonderful cottage in a lovely location.”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed here while exhibiting at the Devon Show. Adina was extremely welcoming and the cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Topsham is a lovely place with interesting shops and great eateries. We would definitely stay here again.

“Top marks for Topsham and cottage”
Reviewed 2 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We stayed at this cottage whilst visiting our daughter at Exeter University; the village and cottage were perfect. Topsham is a quiet village with a varied selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, just a short drive from the city. The cottage was presented to a very high standard, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner was very welcoming and takes an obvious pride in the property. Our stay was relaxing and pleasant, I would highly recommend this cottage as a place to stay near Exeter.

“Cosy comfortable cottage with such a warm welcome”

Met by Adina to show us around. Cream tea and a bottle of wine to welcome us which we thoroughly enjoyed. Very cosy and warm. Great comfortable settees and beds. Bedding beautiful and loads of storage space in bedrooms. Very large laundry room which was handy. Large bathroom with separate shower and bath. All nicely decorated and dressed.
Be aware that the shared drive is narrow and it us best to reverse in. You get used to it, I did. Get someone to guide you in the first time.
Beautiful town with plenty of shops, pubs and coffee shops. Wine shop about 50 yards away, and a The Nelson another 50 yds on. Take a walk to the quay to a The Lighter Inn too, very nice.
Thanks for a lovely stay. It was great to visit our daughter who is at Exeter Uni and spend the weekend relaxing together.
