“Fabulous accommodation in interesting wee village”
Reviewed 28 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Great holiday over Christmas. High standard of accommodation - a lovingly converted Brethren meeting hall - with plenty room for our family group. Sociable big living/dining/kitchen area with cozy wood burning stove. Bedrooms and bathrooms aplenty. No mobile signal, but wifi in property. Owner promptly had someone come to sort out a problem with the cooker. Leadhills is an interesting wee village with a village shop and hotel. Highly recommended, characterful holiday house.

“Great stay”
Reviewed 28 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Enjoyed a fantastic week. Had everything we needed. Lovely spacious family friendly accommodation. Quaint village and enjoyed the railway. Also great base for walks and access to Glasgow. The coffee machine was a treat too!

“Great week”
Reviewed 26 February 2014 for a stay in November 2013

We stayed at Ebenezer Hall in November 2013 for a week as part of a 2 week holiday in Scotland. The location was great, and easy to find. It's a converted Christian Brethren meeting house / chapel.
It was a really good base for visiting lots of small towns around Leadhills - Biggar, Peebles, Moffat....
The house is really lovely, and is kitted out with everything you will need for self catering. The house has SkyTV and fast broadband. The beds are extremely comfortable! We were a group of 4, but there were 4 bedrooms so would be good for a bigger group. We had some snow while we were there, and the log burner kept us warm, we never felt cold. 1 of the 3 bathrooms had a lovely freestanding bath - made use of that!
Everything was so clean, all towels etc were provided.

We will return if we can.

“Beautifully appointed, spacious, characterful family home”
Reviewed 24 February 2014 for a stay in February 2014

Ebenezer Hall lends itself to get togethers' for family or friends; the communal lounge is light, spacious, sociable area with a large open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with a woodburner. It also offers people the option of peace & quiet as the large rooms have desks, sofas and separate TV/DVD etc. Plenty of nice toilets, showers and baths!
We all loved the house from age 3 to 73. The village is very friendly and there are so many beautiful walks from the doorstep. By car or bus, its easy to get to tourist attractions or the nearby cities.
Great spot for a holiday; we would go back.

“What a lovely home!”
Reviewed 27 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Me and my family loved Ebenezer Hall! It is a great space and furnished to a high standard. It also had the added extras of board games and playstations for the kids to keep them entertained. We will hopefully be lucky enough to stay at the property again, perhaps in the summer as the surrounding land is beautiful.
