I found this place on trip advisor when I was in Quebec City on business. The staff was very nice and the setting on the outdoor patio is quaint. The menu is very limited but the cheese selection and the cheese board and bread are very nice. Wine by the glass options are good too. My only disappointment was the serving of one of the two cheeses was very small while the other was quite generous.

We were looking for a spot for lunch with out door seating on a beautiful day and Pape-Georges fit the bill perfectly! The menu is very limited but just go with the charcuterie plate that includes two cheeses and you will be all set. Our waiter spoke excellent English and was incredibly friendly. The charcuterie & cider along with the quaint location made it a memorable meal.

The atmosphere, mulled wine and cheese board were terrific. Unfortunately, 2 of only 6 people there during happy hour, the service was terrible. A second drink was only possible when I got up and walked to the bar and asked for another, in spite of a long empty glass. My date never received a second drink and after a long wait, we again walked to the bar and asked for the check. In fairness, two more people entered, so now there were eight patrons inside— far from busy. The worst part, however, was when the bartender reached in her bag on the bar and proceeded to brush her long hair behind the bar where food and drink are served. Grossed out and past ready to leave we left disappointed at what could be the perfect little pub.
