You start from McGill and walk to the end of St. Paul which isn't that far at all. The architecture, stores and restaurants are so interesting. A great people watching street!

Very pleasant area of town.

Older buildings and cobbled streets, pavement cafes, restaurants and bars, souvenir shops, art studios and lots more.

The traditional part of Montreal and a must to visit.

I enjoy walking all along the old part of the city. The pedestrian zone of Rue St Paul is quite nice... some nice shops, some traditional souvenir shops. Great places to stop for gelato, coffee. Place Jacques Cartier is filled with all sorts of vendors. Lots of fun.

Great place for a stroll back in time. Beautiful cobblestone streets and amazing views of the old world. Very romantic stroll hand in hand. A lot of people walking around too. Many small shops, bars and places to eat. Loved it!!!

Walking down the Rue St-Paul you're transported back to the 1600's. A vibrant restaurant and bar scene complements it's wonderful architecture and history...I'll review many of it's attractions in later reviews from this month's visit.
