Stayed in the first floor unit of this neat little home. Everything updated and kept in perfect order, and very clean. We had everything we needed. Beautiful kitchen and appliances. Comfy leather couches in living room, although we didn't spend a lot of time indoors. The auto-sensor lighting around the property worked wonderfully, as we were out in the evenings. Very nice pubs, restaurants and shops less than 2 blocks away at Bloor Street, including subway station. Very nice walking by the homes and gardens on the way. We felt secure letting our daughter and friend (20 yrs) go out later at night (pub and the movie theatre down Bloor). I set out running in the mornings for High Park and wow - what a beautiful place to have so near the house. Late on our first night we drove down to the lakeshore park and were pleased to see people strolling the beachside walk. We found Lakeshore Drive to often be a better option than Gardiner Xway to get into the city. Parking downtown was only a little more expensive than taking the subway. It was VERY busy in the city but we still got around OK. Recommend Kennedy's Pub and Simply Thai restaurants, and Hot Oven Bakery (Bloor), Canada's Wonderland, took the ferry to the islands (beach nothing special but lovely parks), Aquarium, little 'zoo' area of High Park, Distillery district for dinner...so much to take in on a long weekend. We loved Durie Street and Mila was terrific to work with! Thank you!
