Great food, amazing ambience and quality service! What else you can ask for?! The rooftop is highly recommended during the summer. Drake Hotel’s Brunch is at par with top restaurants in Soho and Meatpacking District!

My strong discomfort with writing reviews is no match for the deep love I have for The Drake and, more importantly, the people who make it what it is. I have stayed here multiple times, slept in every level of room, eaten in each restaurant, and drunk at each bar. Although my work colleagues prefer other Toronto properties with long lists of 5 star facilities - hotels so ambiguous in their Insta-luxury that they could be in any city in any country in the world - The Drake will leave you with a true sense of place. The community fostered by the front desk staff (Ashley, Julian, and others all led by the impeccable Savannah) who will remember your name from your first check in, to the servers in the lounge, restaurant, and cafe (Verna, Rachel, Brittany, Mike, et al) who welcome you as though you were an old high school friend, there is no hotel I've stayed at where the graciousness and hospitality were as authentic. They may not wear white gloves and ironed uniforms, and you will not miss it for one second. The food is top notch and crave-able, and additional music/event programming in the public areas will make sure you don't feel lonely even if traveling by yourself (i.e. me most of the time). Rooms are often described as "quirky" and "cool," but it simply comes down to the fact that there is a real sense of humor and a personal perspective evident in their design which is most welcome. Sure, the current size of the hotel may set predetermined limits on the scale of the offerings that can be made, yet you will not lack for the experience. I may come to Toronto for business, but I gladly stay here just for me. If you want this city at its most vibrant and alive, this is the only place to stay. The rest of your Toronto adventures can start here.

We have stayed in A LOT of hotels and there was something really special about the Drake. Everything was perfect! The decor, the lovely service and how great everyone was with our 4 year son.

The room was super clean and the attention detail (including fabulous toiletries, a proper power shower and swish and comfy robs) was second to none. It was really helpful to have the cafe and the restaurant as part of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious as was lunch.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and had no noise whatsoever

The Drake is in a trendy neighborhood with lots going on inside and outside the hotel. I only spent one night as a stopover, really wish I had more time to spend here. Would definitely stay here next time I'm back.

Small boutique hotel, away from the city core.

Limited rooms available, very personable service.

Each room is different, and it takes a few minutes to discover all the hidden gems within. Even the scent in the rooms is different from most hotels.

Great evening, with an awesome bar downstairs. Had a wonderful sleep !
