I was on the fence about the score, here's why:
Our check in was LATE!. Took until after 4pm (closer to 430pm) to check in. We did ask for early check in, even with a fee. We were attending a wedding and asked so we could have time to get ready. When other guests checkout late, it is late for new guests, I get it. I truly understand front staff get asked the same question over and over again, it is part of your job to answer! Rolling your eyes at guests or simply being inconvenienced by the question, might be time to ask yourself if a new job is in your future, sadly I experienced the same attitude from 3 different front staff. I overheard several disgruntled guests discussing the check in process over my time at the Quattro. Normally, how I am greeted usually reflects how the entire stay would go, BUT this time I found the overworked cleaning staff very pleasant and welcoming. Always smiling, unlike the front staff. They did a great job cleaning rooms, which I am assuming was done fast and rushed. And yet they were happy. I overheard many people discussing front desk staff. Surprising no one comments about that in the reviews. While I waited in line, I did not see one person (guest) approach rudely, demanding their room or being belligerent in any way. I will give them the benefit of the doubt it was just this weekend they were unhappy, or maybe something changed with the jobs that day...who knows?!? I could go on and on, but assume whoever reads this gets the point.
Rooms are very large, clean and I really loved them! With the exception of the bathroom. Almost need to be a contortionist to reach toilet paper. And very small bathrooms considering the size of the rooms. Beds were comfortable. Coffee in rooms, super nice!
Pool was okay. Felt grimy coming out. Sauna was nice.
Almost a great stay with the exception of the front desk staff. Looks like everyone was nice to you, it wouldn't hurt to smile and/or treat people how you would like to be treated when you're the guest. Had I received the service I expect or at very least a smile, this place would have gotten a 5. I struggled with the 4 since I am all about the front staff and their greetings.
