“Great Lobster rolls!”

Meals at Royal Oak have improved greatly. This is my second visit this month a Royal Oak and in both locations where I ate, the food was terrific.

At the CentrePointe location, I ordered the lobster rolls (2) and chips (made on the premises - they were sooo good). Coleslaw was included. The cost was 17.$ quite reasonable for the quality.

The lobster in the rolls was sufficient and the buns had been buttered and toasted which provided great taste.

We sat on the patio (a long narrow patio that runs the length of the restaurant). Even though there were lots of people there, the noise level was quite low. It was a perfect day to be eating outdoors.

I also odered the ‘on tap’ cider which was quite pleasant.

Went before center point show , made reservations arrived and place was packed , glad we did.
Seated right away , greeted and severed our drinks fast , ordered food took a little while but pretty good considering the amount of people to serve .
Our group had wraps and hamburgers ... ALL WAS GREAT !!
Will be back

We had a great time at this family style pub in Ottawa near Centerpointe theater. We had no wait for seating and food was hot and fresh. Great family fun. I had fish and chips and it was very filling and tasty.

Lots of Scottish choices given the upcoming Robbie Burns celebrations. I passed on the haggis but went for the lamb burger, which for some reason they call Greek. It was good.
