Tidy little place tucked away at the back of the store with delicious and affordable menu - the pasta we had a rich flavor that only comes from home-made sauces that are simmered with the pasta rather than just poured over cold reheated pasta!

Not sure I understand what all the fuss is about this place. Our lunch was good - not the best or worst I’ve had in Ottawa, not the best or worst Italian restaurant in Ottawa, just good. It definitely wasn’t worth the 45 minute wait to be seated and then the slow service given all the other lunch places in the market. Will continue to shop here but I won’t go back for lunch.

This is a little tiny restaurant in the back of an Italian market....there are only 6 or so tables, with a counter that around the perimeter of the cramped kitchen...but the food is awesome and it feels even better knowing you found a great lunch and skipped the 100 touristy restaurants on the same block.

My wife and I attended a Cooking Class and Dinner with Chef Michael Cummings, and it was just an excellent experience from start to finish. The 4-course meal prepared under the chef's tutelage was magnificent. The ~18 'students' have the option to participate as much or as little as they like in the preparation of each course, which is consumed in turn by all, while seated around a large table. Michael shared his amazing experiences and tips (and wine!) throughout, with an interesting mix of students that comprised singles and couples of all ages and cooking skills. At $70 per person, this ~2.5 hour, 4-course meal, including wine, is an incredible bargain and makes a fantastic gift (certificates available). We will definitely go back and bring our friends.

For all your Italian food and ingredient needs. This little store will satisfy any craving you at have for Italian food. They serve up fresh sandwiches, coffees and pastries in the back of the store. Very affordable and convenient.
