We are on a 3 month holiday around Eastern Canada and US. We found Larks Cottages on TA and booked for two nights. Hosted friends around the fire pit and cooked dinner for them. What a comfortable, homely place, so peaceful and quiet. Everything you need including great beds and linen. The owner is a real sweetheart ! Loved our stay!
This is a wonderful, pet-friendly cottage with lots of space and beautiful outdoor surroundings overlooking Lake Ontario. The cottage is fresh and clean, quaint and full of windows so that it is bright and full of sunshine. The cottage is spacious (lots of room for at least two couples) and the rooms are large. The view of the lake is stunning and the grounds are charming with lots of trees, singing birds and plenty of options for outdoor seating. The property is located very close to many wineries and to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. The proprietor has left nothing to chance - towels and linens are plentiful, there is a wonderful sunroom complete with a selection of reads and even board games and puzzles. For the "plugged-in" demographic, there is satellite TV and WIFI. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and will definitely plan a return visit.

Beautiful setting right on Lake Ontario. Picked up some fresh pastries from Willow Cakes and Pastries and enjoyed them on the patio. Also recommend Konzelmann winery and Lakeside pottery, both of which are right around the corner. It is very quiet and relaxing here.
Just returned from a Girl's Weekend Getaway staying at the Lark's Lookout Waterfront Cottages moments away from NOTL. Ten women stayed in two cottages. There was plenty of room in both cottages. We were so impressed with the supplies, there was even an Espresso machine, blender, mixer and enough towels for ten more people. Just bring yourself and perhaps your favorite pillow, everything else is there! The cottages were very clean and painted in beautiful pastel colours to provide that extra bit of atmosphere. Thanks you Meredyth.
The cottages are in an excellent lakeside environment within a short drive of the town centre and the many wineries, some of which are within walking distance which isn't a bad idea if you want to sample the vintages, and with Niagara Falls and the US border less than an hour's drive away. The accommodation is self-catering with all the necessary amenities provided along with a decking area with barbecue and a spacious garden with fire-pits (logs provided) which are just right for a sundowner and with views across the lake to the Toronto skyline.
I've stayed there twice now and will be returning again this August when I visit my sister in Toronto - it's becoming a family ritual. The cottage with the lakeside patio just shades it for me, but it's a very close call.
