Amazing powerful mother nature at her finest. Glad we went in June before high volume of tourists. A must see

Lines about 15 minute wait

Interesting short self guided tour
You get to see twosmall portals behind the waterfall

Then a viewing platform of to the side

Well organised and reasonably quick tour

Can do by yourself do not need to do with an organised company

We combined a two day trip to Niagra Falls and Niagra on the Lake as part of a family wedding. The Marriott Falls View Hotel and Spa is where we stayed for two nights with a wonderful view of the Falls. This is great viewing for the falls, fireworks and picture taking. We signed up on-line in advance with the Naiagra Parks department for a four excursion pass which included 48 hours usage of the WeGo bus system. Total cost is $65 on line (no tax) or you can head to the Niagra Parks Povillion which is just below the Marriott FallsView hotel and get your pass there (same price + tax). The Journey behind the Falls requires a reservation so once you get you passes remember to schedule that. Its an amazing trip down below the falls with several great viewing spots behind the falls and then out on a pomotory where you can see horseshoe falls spilling over. Fantastic and some great history presented as you walk through the tunnels. You get wet on this trip and ponchos are provided.

Lots of hype and expensive - dark dank and absolutely no views other than wall of water at the end of the tunnel - - perhaps just what might have been expected but at least you can say you did it!

Lines were long because we went in the afternoon but mornings would be quieter. However it was worth the wait. You get spectacularly close to the falls and can feel the force of nature very tangibly. A great experience for the whole family.
