My family and I recently travelled to NF for Spring Break - two children 6 and 5. I purchased this Hotel from Groupon for $66/night + $33 in taxes and fees (as charged by Groupon). I was wearing after hearing the reviews of people who purchased on Groupon being hit with extra fees by the hotel -- this was not the case with us (? maybe a different Groupon) - we had no incidental fees. The hotel is right in the center of the Canadian Falls area - about 0.7 miles from Clifton Hill - very walkable to the falls and to the tourist attractions/Clifton Hill. Clifton Hill is where all of the nonsense tourist trap activities are - we loved Ripley's Believe it or Not, Louis Trousseaus Wax Museum, and our groupon came with free tickets to two fun centers (we rec'd 4 tickets to 4 activities within these fun centers) which was very fun even for us adults! We rode the Ferris wheel though it was very foggy so we couldn't see the falls at all :(.

Back to hotel - check is at 4pm and checkout is at noon. The noon checkout is a welcomed change from many hotels. We checked in at 4:30 and it was very smooth. Based on reviews I asked to be on a higher floor as to avoid the loudness of the Fun Center and we got a room on the 15th floor - although we were a bit disappointed our room faced away from the falls it ultimately didn't matter as we weren't there for the hotel view. Also, even the falls view is very obscured by other hotels and you can't see much.

The beds were comfy enough and the room was very clean. The bathroom was a standard shower/tub combo and a bit small but was fine. The pillows, in my opinion, were awful -- very very soft and squishy, which others may prefer.

We went to the pool which was nice and my kids loved it - there was also two hot tubs. Towels are provided by the hotel. There is a small gym as well which we did not go into.

The convenience store is outrageously overpriced but I expected that as it is a tourist destination. There is also a Starbucks, IHOP, and Ruths Chris steakhouse in the hotel 0 which we did not go to either.

Overall, a very nice stay. Hotel could be a bit more updated and this is why I did not give it 5 stars (bigger shower, better carpet) but we had a tremendous time!

Room Tip: In the heart of Niagara Falls

With so many hotels to choose from in Niagara Falls, it was almost hard to choose. Traveled with a group of friends to celebrate a good friends Stag party and overall it was a great stay. Very comfortable clean rooms with comfortable beds and bedding. Certainly can’t complain about the amenities at this hotel - Starbucks, IHOP and Ruth’s Chris stark house all in the lobby.
The valet gents were very friendly and welcoming, the only issue I can mention was there was a bit of an issue when checking in. Just a bit of a language barrier where the young lady had no clue as to what I was inquiring about and made suggestions that made no sense whatsoever..no big deal.

Went on a mini vaycay with my boyfriend from March 26th to the 28th. Clean hotel and attentive staff. Though rooms do not have mini fridges but they will accomodate if you need one. Rooms were clean and was shocked to have left our room for 30 min and came back to our room spotless. I definitely would recommend. There is an arcade, restaurants and coffee shop on site. The casino is attached to the hotel as well.

It was a great getaway! Had an awesome short stay at this hotel . Staff are very friendly and courteous. Room was very clean and when we ask for an additional supply they were able to give right away. I highly recommend this place. If you want to have an awesome vacay this is where you need to stay. I will still choose this hotel on our next trip again.

Since we couldn’t get away for an actual week-long vacation, we opted for a one night getaway to Niagara, a destination we have always been fond of, no matter the time of year. We had never stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton, but found it to be conveniently located to all of the attractions and places we wanted to take in on our short trip away from home. We booked a Fallsview junior presidential suite with a king bed and jacuzzi tub. The room was clean, quite spacious, but was fairly dated and not what was expected from the photos or the price attached to the room choice. Unfortunately, the location of the hotel is setback quite a bit, and to the left of the Horseshoe Falls, making the view quite distant, and partially obstructed by neighbouring buildings. “Ravina” greeted us at both check-in and check-out and she was quite lovely, very polite, professional and helpful when it came to our choices for parking. As mentioned, the hotel conveniently provides indoor access to the casino, Eastside Mario’s, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Yuk Yuk’s and Fun Zone to name a few. We did not take advantage of the pool or gym facilities so I cannot comment on those items. The bed was quite comfortable, the pillows not so much. For next time, I think I would prefer to stay in a hotel that is located on the opposite side of the street to bring you that much closer to the actual falls, with less obstructions. I also think we could have found a room with a better view at a comparable price for what this room ended up costing. There are so many hotels and restaurants to choose from, so we will likely try another hotel for our next trip to Niagara, which quite honestly will probably be a long time from now since Niagara is no longer what we would consider to be a cost effective mini getaway destination.
