The 6 of us ate at la Casa last TUE and it turned out to be a one-of-a-kind experience...We probably should have left long before the food (finally) came - which was a full 2hr after our going through the door (of course with a reservation).
First we were warned that a number of menu items were NOT available that evening, then we could not get the bottle of wine we had selected...entree finally showed up 2h20 min later...Management offered us grudgingly a supplementary free bottle of wine but that did not speed up service...Then my daughter proceeded to go and chat with management to try and find out what was going on...Obviously was not the thing to do at La Casa as the owner proceeded to offer vulgarities not worth repeating here, implying that we were all out for a freebee...Very offensive...
The food ended up being of very good quality but the whole set up was totally inappropriate: understaffed dining room and abusive management!!!
