This is a small scale garden in the center of Halifax and one block from the Citadel. A pond and some fountains. Big trees and flowers garden. In this garden you are not allow to walk the dogs, no jogging and no cycling. It is a nice place to sit and walk around. A small colonial style cafe was located at the side entrance and a public washroom too.

Very lovely gardens that are free to enter. A wide variety of scenic places to stroll and sit. Coffee and ice cream shop on site. Great in warm sunshine for outdoor activities.

What a lovely surprise to discover these Victorian-style gardens in downtown Halifax. Beautifully landscaped and maintained. with a terrific little coffeehouse/cafe and an old-fashioned band shell.

We went here for a stroll. The gardens aren’t huge but they are beautiful and a peaceful place in the middle of the city. We parked up around Dalhousie and walked up to the gardens. Lots of care is evident in these gardens! Thank you to whoever does all of this work!
