Nice variety of areas with flowers and shrubbery. Small cafe let us get out of drizzle until it passed. The dyke walk was very pretty, but windy, and beware of ticks.

This was quite a surprise to find in little Annapolis Royal but we spent several pleasant hours walking through the gardens with many of their spring flowers in bloom, especially rhododendrons, azaleas and peonies. The little Acadian house was very nice as were the views of the tidal pond that was adjacent to the gardens. This was well worth the stop.

We spent about 1 1/2 hours meandering through the beautiful gardens. Many of the flowers/shrubs were in full bloom. The staff were knowledgeable & friendly. One of our trip highlights.

We had trouble believing this lovely garden is not yet 40 years old. The lovely large trees and splendid large rhodadendrons, azaleas and other flowering shrubs look possibly older and in splendid form. We appreciated the loving care exhibited in the perfect condition of paths and walkways as well as the huge plantings of fussy plants like roses ( have never seen better conditioned roses!) Special features like a replica Acadian dwelling and the preservation of the adjacent old dykelands used by long ago Acadians were fun to explore. We also liked the small innovation (or perhaps inspiration?) area with ideas for home gardeners to possibly consider. We spent nearly all afternoon viewing this great garden.
