Our family ordered over $200 worth of Chinese food for our family Easter dinner and it was a terrible experience. The service seems to be driven by greed not respect. Unlike most Chinese restaurants in Winnipeg there is no discount for picking up or paying cash. When we got home we noticed there were no fortune cookies or packets of soya sauce included. A quick phone call determined that you have to ask for these things if you want them. They also offer free sweet and sour pork for orders over $50 but all we got was one extra order of fried rice. Guess we should have placed four separate orders to get four orders of sweet and sour pork? Almost every Chinese restaurant in Winnipeg provides streamed rice with food orders. Our order came with "free rice" written on the container as if this was some sort of special bonus. We ordered two orders of breaded shrimp but only got one. We were told both orders were in one container even though our other duplicate orders all came in two containers to avoid this confusion. The food is decent but not exceptional. You'll get much better food at some of the other Chinese restaurants on south Pembina. (Huang Pu River or North Garden are both excellent). This is the second time I've felt ripped off by this restaurant. When we told them we will order someplace else next time they said okay. That's a pretty clear way of saying, "we don't care about having satisfied customers."

The service was exceptional. The food was well presented but average. There are better places to eat locally.

One of the best Chinese food restaurants in Winnipeg. Very far down Pembina almost at the perimeter. Parking is free but not a lot of spaces, but street parking closeby. Service always friendly and attentive. Our large takeout order was ready on time and we got an extra pork dish for free because of how much we ordered. Sauces are excellent. Their crispy ginger beef is well prepared but they should use better quality beef, otherwise, dinner was excellent. We would definitely order from there again. OK for eat in, clean and basic, and able to handle large groups.

It was obvious that they want their customers to enjoy the food. We ordered a few items off the menu and asked for another suggestion. After considering what we had already ordered, the server suggested a dish which would compliment our meal. One item we ordered was Moo Shi, which we had never eaten before. The server was kind and took a minute to show us how to eat it. I would highly recommend this restaurant for great Chinese food.

Great food with lots of selections, from true Chinese cantonese options (Chinese menu available), to the Canadianized versions. Sauces are full of flavor and portions are large. Haven't done the lunch buffet, we always order from the menu both dine in and take out. As a Celiac, they are very accommodating and careful. I supply the GF soya sauce and they prepare dishes to order. Favorite dishes are pan fried shrimps with cashews, boiled chicken with ginger green onion and young ginger and the kids love the cantonese chow mein (not GF). Super friendly service.
