Description: We are Vancouver's only First Nations restaurant. We specialize in wild fish, free range game meat and of course bannock, freshly baked daily. We use traditional ingredients that we prepare and present in a modern way. In our small casual bistro everyone is welcome as they are. In the spirit of First Nations' traditions, our intention is to provide a gathering place where the focus is on the people and the food. Inez (Nuxalk Nation) and Remi Owners

I had friends coming from out of town I just had to surprise them that Canada has real food (First Nations food) I came before with my boyfriend and I just loved it from the service to the food was just simply amazing. And now with my friends they just couldn't believe all the flavours and the variety of delicious dishes !!!!
I will bring all my friends and family again and again to discover that Canadian cuisine is amazing thanks to Salmon n' Bannock

Having read the reviews we thought it would be interesting to try the inuit food. We left the restaurant wishing we had not. It was not only expensive and uninspiring but not even enjoyable. The ribs were tough and dry and the vegetables without flavour

Small cozy restaurant with charming staff and excellent food. Some dishes influenced by First Nations traditions - very tasty!

Game & fish cooked with a nod toward First Nation traditions. We had candied salmon & venison/ blueberry sausages, pulled wild boar on a "taco" of bannock, bison burger, local hard cider. Only complaint was burger overdone for our taste. 8 inside tables (1 or 2 on sidewalk when weather is good). Native art matched by black linens & red walls. A short taxi ride south of downtown Vancouver.

This was for us, coming from the north shore quite a trek but well worth it. Ambience is okay but food is very good. The menu reflects the first nations heritage and have to admit that was for us a major attraction - not disappointed, thank you
