Excellent sea walk walk/bike path that goes all the way around the park. Views of the cruise ships, tankers and freighters, skyline and ocean. Path goes under Lion Bridge and snakes throughout the park. Don't miss the rose garden or the rhodo garden. Rent bikes (at near by Spokes on Denman) and enjoy.

It's worth going but don't have a high expectation. First, it's not as beautiful as expected although it's not a park you see all the time. For example, the suspension bridge is impressive; some trees and flowers are rare and good looking. Second, it's a huge park so you'd better either rent a bike or take a wagon tour. DON'T try to walk. It's simply to big to walk.

Oh the good thing about it is it's free.

We went on a day trip which included a visit to Stanley Park. A beautiful green space in the city next to the sea wall. Very pretty and relaxing in the sunshine.

I visited the park mainly to see the totem poles which are fabulous, but you can stay a day here. The gardens/grounds are beautiful and there are lots of different trails/walks, the one \i liked most was the coastal walk.

This park seems to dominate much of the city and I am sure is very well used by locals and tourists alike. We could walk to the Parkk from our Hotel on Robson so made good use of the views even though it was raining for much of our visit.
