Classy hotel but only bed options are a king size bed or two oversized double beds. My partner and I sleep in the same bed and discovered the difference between a double bed and our queen bed at home actually is a huge difference! The bed is longer then expected so at 6'4 his feet didn't dangle over the bottom but it was cozy!
However, the lush and fluffy housecoat and towels made up for any discomfort in the bed.
Views are amazing, service is great!

The hotel at Christmas is hard to beat but there are a few little wrinkles that need to be cleaned up: when we arrived in our room there were 2 light bulbs out and even though I asked (by note) for replacements they never quite got it right(I mean like there were still dead bulbs after our second night. The other niggle-and this seems to happen each time we stay-is that the parking pass they give you works well on the first day but when you want to exit on the day you leave(and early before parking attendants start work) the pass does not work. So here we are -again-stuck at the barrier -with a non-functioning pass. The only recourse is to ignore the lineup behind you and go back upstairs to the front desk and get them to reset the pass-which costs $39 per day! However today they reset it and it still would not work. So now I am already 20 min late but thankfully the parking attendant shows up and is able to help out saying something like they don't know what they are doing upstairs (at front desk) The other little thing that bothered us was that there was no bedside table on one side. We had to move furniture around to make things work for us. Apart from that the hotel is very nice and friendly but not a 5 star!

Room tip: Look for the harbour view King

Nice hôtel well situated for the Convention Center with good quality rooms. The food is correct but limited in choice for lunch and dinner. Expensive also for what you get. Breakfast buffet at about 30$ is not exciting at all and always the same choice of all. We had to wait for items in the buffet about every morning. A good hôtel but, as a frequent traveler all around the world, nothing to remember really... oh yes, one thing: the spectacular view on a sunny day but one as to remember that Vancouver has a lot of rainy days lol!

During September, we stayed two times at the Pan Pacific - on the way to Banff/Jasper/Lake Louise and on the way back. Comfortable accommodations for us and our Welsh terrier, Bessie with rooms overlooking the water and cruise ship berth. Had fun watching the dozens of seaplanes take off and land. Used room service for breakfast and dinner - although the hotel was very pet friendly, Canada is generally not when it comes to dining.

Room tip: Insist on water view - we always like high floors.

We stayed here with our 6 year old.
The hotels location provides easy access to walking paths which go all the way to Stanley park.
Our room had a beautiful harbour view and going for a dip in the heated pool at the end of day was a great way to relax and absorb the scenery.

If you need a sleep in be mindful that the harbour planes can be noisy during take off.

We did not eat here as it was a bit pricy and we also wanted to experience the restaurants elsewhere in the city.

The hotel checked off all our boxes and we will return.
Staff are great and this is place we'll come back to one day.

Room tip: Rooms with a harbour view should offset the noise of planes taking off :)
