Great way to travel to Victoria from Vancouver. Friendly staff and a modern boat. Slowed to see some Orca's on the way which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this service.

I read about the V2V fast ferry on the internet and thought it would be a great way to travel from Vancouver to Victoria. It worked out to be a great choice. We left our rental car nearby so not far to take luggage. It was a great trip and very scenic - much better than the bus/BC ferry alternative. We paid more to go gold class so we had great seats, a glass of bubbly and a light meal included.
We would certainly do it again and would recommend it to other tourists

We are downtown Victoria residents. The V2V ferry is so conventent for us. If You're not taking a car to Vancouver this is the way to go. Service is great! Comfortable seating with electric outlets and wifi that actually works! The only drawback is it's much more expensive than BC Ferry.

I took V2V for the second time yesterday, and had a wonderful afternoon. Both times we slowed down to observe whales that were nearby, which is a great extra benefit.

Service is excellent from reservation, to embarkation, to on board eating and drinking, to trip termination. The captain tells us periodically what’s happening, and the crew are always available to answer questions.

On both trips I had a glass of wonderful local rosé, and the ship is stocked with other local wine and beer choices.

Seats have power (110v and USB), a nice touch for people who are on devices during the trip.

I love being able to travel between downtown Vancouver and downtown Victoria by boat, without the need to get out to the BC Ferries terminals. BC Ferries is a certainly very good experience. My biggest issue is that the drive to Tsawwassen (ferry terminal to the south of Vancouver) can take an hour or more in traffic (the drive is at least 30-40 minutes even if the roads are empty), and from Swartz Bay to downtown Victoria is at least 30-45 minutes. So, if you want to travel by boat between Vancouver and Victoria and don’t need your vehicle, why go through all of that highway driving when you don’t have to?

Highly recommended.

This is a great way to travel between Vancouver and Victoria, very relaxing, casual and informative. My only slight complaint was the salad that I really didn't enjoy or finish, but that could be just me. The boat left on time and arrived as expected, the captain even slowed down as he spotted a group of Orcas
