Lake Louise combines stunning scenery with runs that cater to every capability level. There are so many options that even on a busy day, you can find space to enjoy the skiing. The Ski School is first class. Every instructor I worked with were of the highest quality but I would give a shout out to Stuart from Aberdeen for a couple of great days.

Everything from lessons, to passes and rentals can be arranged online and all conveniently located in the Lodge at the foot of the mountain.

Such a fun day spent skiing and lake Louise! I learnt to ski here when I was 11 so it was great to return, the runs are just as good as I remember. Huge resort so loads run choices, also some really good (and challenging!) runs!

This is a very well organised ski area with enough runs to keep you entertained for several days. The chairs and gondola were fast and well supervised. Restaurants in different locations on the mountain were good and also provided for people bringing their own picnics. When visibility was good the views of Lake Louise are stunning. Note for European skiers, several of the green runs were more like European blues for steepness. Any nervous skiers should head up the gondola and take Pika run down the back of the mountain. Overall it was well worth the visit.

We bought out tickets and got rentals beforehand which was helpful. The hills were phenomenal. A foot of fresh snow! We had never skied out west before and there is such a difference from the Eastern resorts. The powder here is really hard to turn in so get used to pointing your skis straight down. Word of advice:: what looks like a good run from the ski lift may actually have four foot high powder moguls....
We had no wind, sunny skis, fresh powder, mid thirty temps. Perfect ski day.

I brought my fiance from LasVegas here before christmas & she loved the fantastic snowboarding. She had never been to Canada before & was completely blown away. Her only comparison for snowboarding was trips to Utah & Utah wasn't even comparable with this place!
