We drove to Banff in June 2018 for a wedding. All the accommodation in Banff and nearby Canmore, are very expensive during the summer and, The Banff Inn was no exception. We paid $250 a night for a room with 2 queen beds. Our daughter stayed a block away at the Rundlestone in a room with a king bed, for $300 a night.
The Banff Inn was very pleasant but nothing special. The bed was very comfortable. The price included the usual very basic continental breakfast on the main floor.
A small parking garage is in the basement.
The staff were friendly.
The hotel is located towards the eastern edge of Banff Ave which probably makes it quieter. Banff is small and an easy walk into town.

This hotel is about a ten minute walk from the town centre . An underground car park , a pizza restaurant on site that offers a great buffet breakfast at under $10 . Reasonable meals all day if you so wish . Buffalo Chicken Wings were lovely ! Very friendly helpful staff at reception . Nice walks nearby , as are tourist offices for any tours or excursions . Would quite happily had stayed here longer .

We had a great welcome when we arrived here for a 2 night stay and we were able to check in a bit early as our rooms were slready ready. We got some good advice on where to eat and it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the main shops in town. Our rooms were very comfortable and the only complaint we could make was that the towels were on the small side. Everything else was fine and very clean. As is common in Canada, some places offer breakfast and some don't. This hotel did offer a continental breakfast if we wanted it, but there are plenty of places in Banff to get a cooked breakfast if you wanted to. We opted to have breakfast here at the hotel and there was plenty of food to satisfy our appetites. On site parking was easy to navigate and we had an overall good experience staying here.

Stayed for 2 nights, was great to be honest, situated well to walk to down town for meals, ( I mean everything you wanted, pubs/meals/drinks etc etc) had everything downtown you ever wanted. Eats/drinks next door also. Inn was good, heat better on low as doesn't make as much nice when it kicks in, rest of rooms I do not know. Reception very helpful and maps also.
Breakfast was very good, as supplied on a tour. Was the in early June 2018.

Room Tip: Room out back, no noise at all, price I do not know as was in a tour.

This hotel was ok, I booked weeks in advance and received a room on the ground floor with a patio door that opened up into a parking lot which was not a nice sight. No view whatsoever from the room. Continental breakfast included cereal, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt etc and was ok. No hot foods, extremely limited seating but enough to get your day started.
Overall, this place does not seem like a good value or location for the price we paid.
Beds were comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep and room size was adequate. For one night this hotel met our needs, however I would not want to stay here longer.
