Beautiful buildings with amazing views chalked full of history. Great restaurants with the always incomparable Fairmont staff. This is a great place for not only a stay, but special occasion meals, group gatherings or just a visit to the spa.

This hotel is fantastic. A maze, but fantastic. My one regret is not staying on the gold floor. Room, restaurants, atmosphere and helpful staff. This hotel has everything and the conference was taken care of by the expert staff. Would definitely stay again.

I was there for a business conference in late March 2018. My family decided to join me because our kids were on Spring Break and we love to ski! The hotel staff was exceptional! One woman in particular, Teriska, from the front desk exceeded all expectations! We ended our week with a first class dinner at the 1888 Chop House, which was a great way to end the week.

Enjoyed a three night stay in early March, 2018. Stayed on the Gold floor and enjoyed the amenities: great breakfast in the Gold Lounge, Munchies at 5 PM and dessert at 8PM. also a quiet place to read and relax at any time of the day. My wife enjoyed the Spa, it is wonderful. We had a nice King room ( not on the Bow Valley side) but still with a nice view over the back of the hotel. The room and service was very nice. My only complaint is the tiny bathroom. We enjoyed three different restaurants over the three nights. All were excellent without being outstanding.
Expensive , but I will always come back , because Winter or Summer, this hotel is a gem not to be missed!

My style of hotel, much like a Vegas hotel grand, convenient and helpful staff. The rooms are of Fairmont quality and very comfortable, the amenities are excellent.
Much like a Vegas hotel if your unlucky they will be hosting large conference parties that makes the hotel feel a little busy.
My biggest gripe are the subtle rip offs. The Parking charges are astronomical for hotel guests, the general long running gripe about resort fees that Fairmont loves to take to the max. The amenities included seem like everything but you have to be careful, Tennis included, the bowling center facilities included (Not the Bowling). As a note the bowling facilities feels like a run down youth club.
Foods not cheap in the hotel and there’s similar affair and cheaper in Banff townsite. The restaurants in the hotel are hot and miss some great some not so.
We found multiple false charges on our bill and had to get them removed.
I think they could so so much more with the pool area, it feels like it’s becoming a little rundown and it’s a shame considering the setting. They should take a note out the Fairmont whistlers book.
That said it’s a very nice hotel, I like the brand and will return.
