“Brilliant place, you won't regret staying here”
Reviewed 30 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

We stayed for 4 nights on honeymoon with our two small children (aged 1 & 2) the yurt was such a brilliant experience! The kids had so much fun and loved it. Once they went to sleep we enjoyed a glass of champagne or two under the stars around the fire pit. The weather was the only thing to let our stay down but we felt very cosy and snug inside the yurt with a storm raging outside. Everything felt very good quality, the bed was so comfortable and the yurt was nice and clean. We already are planning another visit, it really made our honeymoon something a bit special to stay in something as lovely as this!!

“Superbly quirky!”

A really different experience - we stayed for a 3 night/ 4 day mini holiday and loved every minute. The yurt is very luxurious for glamping and we were more than comfortable even though we had 6 in the yurt (2 of whom were infants in travel cots). Our older children (13 & 9) loved the mezamine deck & stories at night around the fire pit. As a couple it was very romantic too - star gazing once the kids had gone to bed. Our only niggles were minor - it could do with a bit of a Vacuum as the floor was a dusty on arrival - but I guess it's hard to keep it immaculate as it is a yurt in a field after all! We received a lovely welcome pack of garlic farm goodies which was fab - thank you. It would have been nice though to be able to buy non-garlic essentials (bread, milk, cheese, butter bacon etc) in the shop though as its a self catering property. All in all a fantastic find, a real gem, we would thoroughly recommend it

Management Response

Thank you Rebecca. so peased you enjoyed the yurt and thank you for the feedback. We have now got a mobile hoover for the floor so not relying just on a mop and broom anymore! Bread milk and eggs are normally available in the shop so apologies if you were told otherwise or they were not available during your stay. Hope to see you again sometime!
