Really lovely cottage with everything you could possibly need on holiday. There were treats for us and our dog on arrival. Hilary very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Perfectly located near the Garlic Farm which does amazing breakfasts. Nearby wooded area perfect to walk with dogs. If we venture back to the IOW we would definitely stay here.
The perfect holiday cottage. Hilary and David fabulous hosts. Hilary had been kind enough to leave a packet of dog biscuits which our Retriever Barley thoroughly enjoyed. He made friends with Tolley, Hilary and David's German Pointer and they had great fun together. There was also a lovely cake and a celebratory bottle of prosecco for me following my 14mile Walk the Wight walk, much appreciated. The cottage is very well equipped and has a very comfortable bed. Within walking distance of the Pointer Inn, great food, huge pavlova. We all had a very relaxing break helped by the glorious weather. Would definitely recommend.
We loved our 8 days at this bungalow and would certainly stay there again. The bungalow is in the large garden of the owner's bungalow and is very well equipped, making a comfortable base for our holiday.
We were greeted on arrival by Hilary who was very friendly and explained everything we needed to know, but never bothered us during our stay.
The bungalow was in the village of Newchurch, which has a most interesting church and a pub within easy walking distance serving excellent food. Newchurch is within easy reach of Sandown & Shanklin.
Hilary also booked the ferry crossings for us which saved us quite a lot of money.
I would certainly recommend this accommodation.
