We had an incredible stay at Quinta Luna. The view is 180 degrees of waterfront. It is definitely a million dollar view. The place was all we could have wanted and more. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals, although, Puerto Adventuras has many amazing restaurants. The balcony was very roomy, and based on the way it was situated was actually protected from the wind. The building and grounds were immaculate. Including the pool, access to the ocean, sandy beach and lounge chairs. More than enough for all staying there. No fighting to reserve. Sorry, I'm starting to sound like an ad. The place was amazing, and we had a wonderful stay. Thank You Richard and Paul for allowing us to enjoy your home away from home.
The location is about 2 hours south of Cancun airport and 40 minutes north of Tulum. It is perfectly situated for day tours to Chichen Itza and Tulum, wonderful snorkling with sea turtles, plenty of cenotes. It really is a wonderful location.
The condo is clean, bright and has all the amenities of home. The art is lovely. Every time you look up there is a new piece that attracts your eyes.
We arrived and shopped at the local Walmart in Playa delCarmen for our water and provisions for the week and relaxed by snorkeling around the cove right below our window. That evening we walked down the road to the hotels for the night life and sunset. Very romantic even though I was with my daughter.
The next day we drove approx 3 hours to Chichen Itza and well worth the trip. On the way home we stopped at one of the many Cenotes. It was awesome, refreshing and cleansing after the hot humid day in the sun.On the way back we stopped at a town beginning with a V. There is a market there, but we missed it because it closes at 1:00pm. Go earlier if that's of interest to you.
Tuesday we went to Akmal beach to swim with the turtles and stingrays and barricudas. It's a lovely beach. Do NOT fall for the guy trying to convince you to rent a life preserver. You absolutely do not need it and it is absolutely not required. You can sit anywhere down the beach and not be annoyed by people trying to sell you things. You will have to pay for parking however. That is not a scam.
Wednesday off to Tumul. Again a wonderful place. On the way back we stopped at the Dos Ojos cenote. It was worth it, but the drive down the long sandy/muddy/pock marked road is tough on the car. Once there the 2nd cave is well worth the adventure
We left on Thursday.
It was a great trip and the accommodations were great.
If you're seeking the kind of vacation where – no matter how you fill the hours of your trip – you have the comfort knowing you have a "home away from home" to return to at the end of the day, this place is for you! My husband and I were delighted to drop our bags and relax in this beautifully decorated, clean, and breathtaking condo which boasts a spacious kitchen and living room, incredible balcony views, and lovely amenities. Whether you choose to use the space as a launch-pad between adventures, or to simply kick-up your sandy feet poolside with a margarita and a good book, you won't be disappointed. Our deepest thanks to homeowners Richard and Paul for access to this gem.
First time to Mexico with our two daughters aged 3 and 7. My husband and I were looking for a place in which we could relax and have some "us" time, without neglecting the needs of our kids. However, what we found here was much better than what we could have ever imagined. The facilities are extremely well maintained. The pool was just perfect, the size, depth and not to mention amazing water temperature. If you're not into chlorine, The beach is literally two steps away.
Moreover, the apartment itself is to die for. Spacious, great light and amazing decor. Whether you are on a romantic escape or a family adventure - this place is definitely it!
We would mostly likely stay here again.
The stress of our initial day of travel immediately melted away upon our arrival at Quinta Luna Buena Vista. This is a beautiful, spacious, condominium with a breath-taking, panoramic view of the glistening Caribbean, a crystal clear lagoon and a lovely infinity swimming pool just below the terrace that overlooks its private beach (magnificent sunrises and sunsets—photo opps abound). First and lasting impression—This is Paradise!
A short distance away and located within this resort (adjacent to a beautiful marina) is a charming little shopping village/town, complete with great restaurants, bars and entertainment. You can swim with the dolphins if you choose or arrange to go on a sightseeing tour or other activities. There are great places to visit outside of the resort with lots you can do.
We would definitely go back.
