Unassuming exterior belies the old world interior and hospitality. Good menu pub food plus well presented and generous portions. Could not manage pudding. Also been for drinks small but pleasant garden. Dogs welcome and well received. Great village pub well worth a visit.

Me and my partner visited for a birthday meal and as we’ve just moved to Liskeard we were looking to find a new favourite restaurant. Bingo. Excellent food (lamb shank to die for), great ale and good service (slightly short staffed but the girls were working extremely hard to keep everyone happy). 100% recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Not our first visit here but wanted to write a review again a year on. Stopped here for a light lunch. Best chips ever!!! Lovely home cooked chips well cooked and no nasty oil taste. Just delicious !! Also had the prawn and crab starter which was great. Most definitely will be back a lot more when we are down in our cottage.

We visited the Plough on a number of occasions last week as we were staying in the village with our disabled son. The staff could not have been more helpful and considerate. A ramp was provided to allow wheelchair access, we were always given a suitable table and the staff were attentive, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was of a high standard and it was a shame that i couldn't visit enough times to try all the offerings, i'll have to go back next year and finish the menu. It is nice to see a hostelry that welcomes well behaved dogs, must take ours one day.

We love The Plough and go once every month or two. It's the place we go when we want to spend a little bit more and get a real treat of a meal.
I've always really enjoyed the food, but tonight I treated myself to the steak and it was perfect. Soft and buttery tender. An utter pleasure and I didn't want my meal to end!
Also great wine and lovely staff.
