“Lovely farmhouse, very peacful location and a great host”
Reviewed 19 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This is a proper traditional Cornish farmhouse set in pretty countryside - it feels as if you're long way away from anywhere, it's so peaceful and quiet, but it's actually only a few miles from Bodmin and it's not far to either the north or south coast and great beaches. It has a wonderful kitchen, large and very well equipped, which is often not the case with a holiday rental, and there's a lovely big garden. The bedrooms are very comfortable with large double beds and good quality bed linen. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, which was very helpful as one of our party had limited mobility. Nick was chaming, easy to contact and very helpful.

“Superb.”
Reviewed 19 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Wonderful stay. Quiet, peaceful location. Annette the hostest with the mostest. Provided filling breakfasts - I had poached eggs on granary, with selection of cut fruit, orange juice, fresh coffee - could have been a full breakfast, much too much for me. Delivered with a smile and answers to every question, so much patience. A lovely person. Chalet impressive, clean, tidy, bed so comfortable slept like a log, very large shower, powerful flow, cooking amenities, fridge, freezer, TV - small but who watches TV on hols. Surrounds very nice, friendly dogs and cats, hardly a sound except the local wildlife. Great for finding the world outside: Fowey, St. Austell, Eden Project, Mevagissey, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Treslickett Gardens, Falmouth, Polperroo, Looe, Liskeard, Plymouth, etc. West Coast (Newquay, not that impressed although beaches good. Travel upwards, stop at the smaller beach locations and take in the views, visit Padstow, try Rick Stein's fish and chips - tasty and inexpensive - best out of Yorkshire! Local views magnificent, climb up the hill and take in the vista of the bay before you, breathtaking). Take a boat trip up River Fowey and a boat trip around the Bay at Falmouth - wonderful. So much to do and see with so little time to do it. When I visit this way again I hope that Lesquite is available. The narrow lanes were a challenge at first, but you quickly get used to them and automatic pilot slides in. Stay here, enjoy and be impressed in a classy sort of way. You will never forget Annette, dogs, cats, kids and family - as I already said, lovely people.

“Great House for a Weekend Getaway with Friends”
Reviewed 8 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Rented Lesquite Farmhouse for the long Easter weekend with friends in celebration of a Birthday and had a fabulous time; the house has great amenities (fully stocked kitchen equipment, large kitchen and kitchen table, indoor cinema, fabulous outdoor space) and was a real treat to get away from the every day hustle of the City. The bathrooms were surprisingly modern for such an old farm house and the showers very hot and powerful (everyone in our group of 10 got a hot shower, which from past experiences of rental holiday houses, was a welcome surprise!) A very short drive to the seaside and lots of local attractions around to explore. We had a great time, thanks again for letting us stay!
