“Lovely accommodation in a peaceful rural location.”
Reviewed 6 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

Our second stay at Wheal Bush Annex which was ideal for the two of us, within easy reach of popular tourist areas. Very clean and spacious not at all cramped with everything we needed for our stay.
It was good to see the dogs who were very well behaved and paid us daily visits especially Stanley who invited himself in at every opportunity. The buzzard that landed in the garden was an added bonus while we were having breakfast as were the other wild birds that appeared.
Many thanks to Karen and Mark for ensuring that we were warm and comfortable and made to feel very welcome. We hope to return in the future.

“A spacious and comfortable holiday annex”
Reviewed 19 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A brilliant holiday annex and just perfect for us - Karen and her family were really friendly and helpful. Delicious home baked scones with clotted cream and jam on our arrival.

We loved the views across the valley and seeing the ponies in the garden. Great walks just through the garden gate and along the many nearby bridleways.

“Peaceful countryside cottage, very well maintained and homely, with great links to the rest of Cornwall.”
Reviewed 10 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Having stayed in the Wheal Bush Annex for a week, I was very impressed with the quality of the living space, particularly given the good price compared to other one bed holiday properties. Karen maintains it to a high standard and is very welcoming to guests, with good tips on some local walks and beaches to visit. Despite having a lovely open family set up with children and lots of animals around, there was a lot of privacy for guests, which was exactly what I was looking for. It had everything needed for a relaxing week and was within half an hour drive to Falmouth, St Ives and a lot of the surfing beaches on the north coast - a very good location to get the most out of Cornwall. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend it to lone travellers or couples looking for a quiet retreat in the countryside.

“Lovely place with gorgeous surroundings”
Reviewed 23 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We have just returned from staying at the Wheal Bush Annex. The Annex itself is lovely and has everything you need, we felt very much at home there and the views are amazing. You are really central and there is loads of info on stuff to do in the Annex. We were welcomed by Mark and Karen who were lovely and made sure we were comfortable (lovely touch of a cream tea waiting and fresh flowers ) they are very willing to help you out if you have any questions about anything but also respect your privacy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely accomodation or to return ourselves. And Dave the Whippet is just gorgeous :-) thanks Karen and Mark :-)

“Just the job for two folks and a dog and better value will be difficult to find.”
Reviewed 30 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Sadly we have taken 3 years to find this ideallic place to stay as our elder son has graduated from Tremough and the other has just started. Wheal Bush Annexe is situated right in the heart of the wonderful Cornish countryside. The view all around is of fields, trees and horses. Whilst this may seem remote you are only 10 mins from the A30, 25 mins from Falmouth, 15 mins from Truro and 25 mins from St Agnes so nicely central .The property is fairly new and very clean. It is attached to the owners home and consists of a bedroom, ensuite shower and wc and a living, dining, kitchenette. Perfect for two adults and our dog. The owners are so friendly and kind. If you like dogs then you will get to meet Dave . A charming chap with just the best name ever for a dog.
This property is a must if you are visiting offspring at Tremough or taking in the delights of Cornwall.
