My mom sister and I stayed here for three nights. The resort is really nice. Rooms, pools and grounds all clean and well maintained. Service staff are friendly but we experienced extremely slow service throughout our stay. We stayed mid week and the resort was not crowded yet there were really long waits for room service, pool/beach side service, made to order stations at the buffet and service at all of the restaurants we ate at. Overall the food was a big disappointment. Limited selections of over cooked/dry meats and bland pastas. Also a very limited selection of side dishes. We had the most luck with the made to order quesadillas, chips, salsa and guacamole. Due to the food and service quality, I would not recommend this resort.

We will definitely be coming back to Hyatt Ziva! Great location: just 20min from airport. We felt very safe and secure here. We traveled with our 8 month old baby and were very well taken care of by the staff at Ziva. Loved the restaurants: the ahi tostadas at the pool restaurant were to die for and we loved the steak restaurant. All of the staff made it a point to get to know us and took such good care of us. We opted for a premium room and loved access to the premium bar/club. The pools were all so great, loved the kid pool and the infinity pool that overlooked the beach. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

We went with our 2 young kids and had a great time. There was lots to do for the kids and the adults and we would recommend it to any family wanting to stay at a resort in Cabo. Great find. Thanks for the experience!

As soon as you enter the property, you will have your breath taken away by the lobby view. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. There are plenty of food options, and we didn't have long waits to eat at any of them! The night club was also fun! The main pools are huge and don't seemed overcrowded when there are a lot of people in them. We only left the resort 1 time, for some excursions. Other than that, there was no need to go anywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to anyone!

Best all inclusive resort we have ever been too! Only 20 minutes from the airport and right on the Sea of Cortez! Great location! From the moment we arrived, we knew that this was going to be a great place to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary! We have celebrated past anniversaries at the RIU Palce and Iberostar Resorts, but Hyatt Ziva was by the far the best! The best service, cleanliness, food, drinks, pools and beach! Our room was ready when we arrived, before the 3:00 check-in time. We were in building 3 on the 3rd floor with an ocean view room! PERFECT room and view! The room was spacious and comfortable (a real king size bed, not two beds pushed together) with a nice size balcony that overlooked the two main pools and the Sea of Cortez, a small sitting area with a couch and table, which was great when ordering room service....which is available 24 hours a day. Clean, clean clean, everywhere from our room, to the pools, the beach, and all the restaurants. No matter what time of day, you will observe someone cleaning! This is however a non-smoking resort, which means you can only smoke in designated areas, at the beach, by the floating fire pits or outside the main lobby. This actually was really nice as it cut down on everyone smoking poolside. We loved the infinity pool with the swim up bar and awesome view of the sea. Great kids pool and adult only pool too! Thank you to Hugo and his staff at the pool. Even though there is a swim up bar, pool waiters were always there to bring you your favorite cocktail or even nachos! Speaking of food, thank you to servers Santiago at LaPlaza and Jorge at the Steak House for their outstanding service and attention to detail each and every day! We enjoyed the filets with bearnaise sauce at the Steak House so much that we ate there 4 of our 7 day vacation! At the Steak House, Jorge greeted us by name and knew what table we liked to dine at. Great service, thank you Jorge. Every morning at breakfast, Santiago greeted us also by name and had our mimosa and bloody mary waiting at our table! Best service anywhere, even in the Martini Bar! Thank you Elaina for remembering me and how much I LOVE the chocolate martinis! Always take one to go! The Coffee Shop is an added plus for coffee lovers and those with a sweet tooth.There is entertainment at night in the theater. We did not watch the shows as the theater is inside. Would have enjoyed some nightly entertainment outside. Great vacation and we plan on bringing our kids and grandkids back in the near future!

Room Tip: Get 3rd floor room with ocean view. The lobby, martini bar, coffee shop, sports, piano bar and gift shop are all located on the 3rd floor!
