Covid makes it hard for things to be perfect. Some villas, restaurants, and pools temporarily closed due to low occupancy. EVERYONE is working so hard to make it good for guests. Biggest disappointment was Lao Nao restaurant was closed, our favorite for breakfast and amazing views. BEST part of stay was the staff! Alejandro Millan, cart driver was delightful, friendly, helpful and even watched for us to take us to our villa! Most of all, waitress, ARIZBETH CHORA, is amazing! We seek her out each year. Hoping next year she will be back at Lao Nao. We requested and waited to have her. She is a sweetheart, efficient, anticipating your needs before you even ask! She has the biggest smile and makes us feel like family when we return each year. Our daughter was there in December and so missed Arizabeth! We were lucky enough to have her back for in January. She makes our stay better. She is a jewel and should be recognized as an example of what makes Sunset such a great place! Will look forward to hopefully more "normal" circumstances next year, but was so very impressed with all Sunset Beach was doing to keep both their guests and their very important staff safe!
