“Welcoming cosy and spotless bolthole with so much to do”
Reviewed 20 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A gem of a small cottage with a warm welcome from Mandy with milk, bread, wine, beer and plenty of local guides. Spotless and cosy with a touch of luxury and WiFi. We brought a tandem and enjoyed several rides in the area plus exploring gems of Norfolk churches and really good food in local pubs and the good chippy on the corner. Keen birdwatchers are spoilt for choice locally. Even we saw curlews, barn owls, an egret, kites and waders too numerous to mention. Do not miss the mass roost at Snettisham. We stayed 5 nights and ran out of time with so many NT houses, historic houses and English heritage sites to explore.

“cosy comfort in beautiful norfolk”

the cottage is beautifully presented with tasteful decor and perfect size for a couple, really cosy upstairs with a fire and comfy sofas infront of the tv. if you are looking to enjoy the sweeping views and wildlife of norfolk its in the perfect spot, we enjoyed walking through the sandringham estate and only had to drive 5 mins to the rspb reserve where we saw thousands of geese in flight at dawn - amazing! also close to the baby seals of blakeney and lots of picturesque beaches. Mandy the hostess was very knowledgeable about the area, and very kindly let us stay an extra night at the very last minute. very accommodating and welcoming host. saw the coach house rooms as well, even lovelier, would be good for a larger party.

Mandy is great at keeping in contact and giving you plenty of details before you're stay.
We arrived, to a pristine Barn Cottage, with welcoming gifts of wine, beer, bread and milk.
The Cottage was warm and welcoming.
There was a welcome pack on the table, relaying all important emergency information etc.
and on the desk in the corner was a stack of leaflets displaying various places and visitors sites around the area.
The kitchen was well equipped.
And the storage heaters kept the cottage warm throughout the day. Sometimes a bit too warm!
Can recommend The Feathers for food. My other half is still raving about their cheese board!
A wonderful relaxing stay, with friendly owners. Will definitely be going back next year.

“Cosy & comfortable accommodation in a lovely area.”
Reviewed 4 November 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We stayed in Barn Cottage for a week whilst on holiday & visiting old friends nearby. It was perfect for us & our dog, cosy & comfortable & everything in it to make it home from home. Good sized TV & the little gifts were a lovely touch. The village is next door to Sandringham where we had lots of lovely walks in the amazing grounds. We would recommend the cottage & certainly hope to return in the future.
