It is true, pictures don't do Casa Perla del Mar justice. No picture could quite possibly capture how the sun fills every crevice of the home in the morning, highlighting the beautiful Mexican art that decorates every corner. Or how the sea breeze flows through the home all day long. The comfortable beds and linens, the pool, hammocks, roof-top sunset and star-gazing, and those amazing balconies all make you feel like you're living a dream. Last but not least, Grey and Brandon helped make our trip unforgettable. Brandon fixed a broken door latch within minutes of us showing it to him. Grey was kind, thoughtful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. And man, can she cook amazing breakfasts and dinners! Victor was so responsive to all our questions. We are so grateful for our time in his home! We truly left a piece of our heart there. A few more things to note: Casa Perla del Mar is about 25 minutes away from the Tulum hotels where a lot of the trendy restaurants and shopping are. If you are looking for an escape and to spend time with loved ones, this house is it! You definitely can't get it in the ocean near the house. We never made it to the swimming beach nearby. (And really weren't too sure how to find it.) However, we LOVED Cenote Manati down the road! And Casa Cenote is so fun and in a beautiful setting! We felt VERY safe in Casa Perla del Mar and in the neighborhood. We truly feel we had an authentic Mexican experience.
We loved our time in this tastefully appointed, comfortable and pleasant house. It is the only house in the area that is built in a traditional local style with Mexican tyles. All other houses are more or less exchangeable. It has all the modern day comforts one could ask for. Enjoy the hammocks, the pool the beautiful view from the rooftop or just laze about in one of the many corners and terrasses. We hope to be back soon!
Casa Perla was a fantastic rental for our vacation.
The rooms were very comfortable for sleeping and the open areas get a great breeze from the seas.
The staff was great. The location of the house was wonderful with 2 restaurants and a cenote just down the road and the other areas of Tulum ( beaches and ruins ) are really close by.
Thank yu for such a wonderful vacation

Spacious, beautiful, well-groomed and staffed home. Wonderful hospitality by the owner. Ladies trip for 9 and we had such a fun, relaxing time - it was the best! Italy and staff took care of the home each day (except Sunday). Italy cooked us dinner one evening and it was absolutely delicious and we had enough leftovers for breakfast the next day.
The pool was perfect size with floats available.
Beach is a close walk, though it had a bit much of kelp and trash that we did not feel comfortable spending a full day at the beach - we went to a beach club elsewhere in Tulum as a day trip.
Wifi and cellular were variable throughout the day, but more or less expected for our remote location.
We used a rental van using a recommendation from the owner. It was great for excursions to downtown, cenote, grocery store, and the ruins. Free parking spot was great.
Overall, excellent stay and we would come back again!! Thank you Victor!
The location is perfect and amazing. On one side ,the view is the beach and on the other side the mangrove jungle with unbelievable bird watching. The house is warm and friendly, perfect for groups or families with its own pool. Be sure to have at least one of the meals made by Italy-the best mole sauce ever.
