This was the forth trip to Isla and we decided to try a different house. I liked this house. 2 bedroom (double and 2 singles) it was perfect for 4 of us. Has a living room and kitchen. Beach access and close to El Centro. It was clean and we had no real issues in the house. The driveway was shared by the upstairs neighbor who was very helpful when we needed it.
I still recommend renting a cart as there is so much to do and see on the island.
But I would definitely rent this place again.

We rented the upstairs unit, which is a studio apartment, for the month of February. It is in a beautiful location. In the morning, you can watch the sun rise from the back porch. In the evening you can watch the sun set over the airport and Cancun. We did have some plumbing problems during our stay, but they were promptly repaired for us. You can walk down the back steps to the ocean, but it is not a good location for swimming, since the surf is strong, and the sea bed is covered with coral. But if you enjoy beach combing, this is an ideal location. The unit has a good size refrigerator, a four burner cook top, and a microwave. There are tables and chairs on both porches, and inside, with seating for two. There is also a love seat and coffee table, and a free standing wardrobe with drawers. Fresh linens are provided weekly. Internet was good enough to stream movies (with a few hiccups), and only dropped out once for a few hours during our stay. First floor neighbors were very nice. The only reason I rated it as 4 and not 5 is that it is not luxurious by America standards, but more what you would expect when camping or at a typical beach house. That was fine for us, but if you are looking for deluxe accommodations, try one of the nicer hotels on the island. For the first week or so, we did not use the AC, since there was a nice breeze off the ocean. But then it got humid, and we did use it. It worked well. The local woman who manages the property is very nice, and responded quickly when we contacted her.
