Beautiful location and grounds!! Our room was clean and we had no issues. However the food was only edible but not great. We ate off site whenever possible. The drinks were terrible - no top shelf alcohol and very little choice. When we were there they had so many weddings that almost all of the beach space was blocked off on a Saturday. It would have been fine if they notified us earlier in the week. We could have planned accordingly. Not the level of customer service that I would expect. I have heard that it used to be so much better there - maybe they will get back to that.

Beaches were great. The Kings Pool was very cool; lots of fun swimming with the fish. Since the resort is basically an island on the island, there were great views of the water no matter which way you looked. Could see the sunrise on one side and sunset on the other. Food was average, service was overall very good. Bar service could be slow during busy times. Only had one guy serving drinks so waits could be longer than you’d like. They need to staff up better on busy days. Town is an easy walk away. Taking the ferry to the island could seem daunting but was actually quite simple. Short taxi ride to the resort from port. Definitely rent a golf cart and tour the island. Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here.

I had forgot to review this place last year after we had stayed here. This year we stayed in Cozumel and spent our whole trip wishing we were back at the Mia Reef. From the beauty of the resort, to the Comfortable rooms and hospitality we really loved this place. We will definately like to return here in the future if given the opportunity.

My daughter and I are at the Mia Reef right now and Alex has been the best part of our trip! He is so friendly and nice and he has answered all my questions about the resort! He is a bright spot of the resort! I would highly recommend coming to the Mia Reef!
