Let's get the cons out of the way first: (not really negatives, but pretty much the only ones I can think of)
* It's smaller and a bit run-down
* Biting insects
For the first point, it's Cozumel. Everything is a little smaller because of space concerns. As for it being a little run-down, it's an older resort and they are doing what they can with what they've got. Again, it's Cozumel. Laid-back. Everything is clean, and that's what's important.
Ok, so the bugs. We've been to Cancun and Cozumel in December and February and had no problems with mosquitoes or biting ants, so we weren't expecting to deal with them in June. Oops. Next time, we'll bring insect repellent.
* Literally everything else.
The food was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Everything was clean. Beach was gorgeous, but lacking some shade to hide from the sun. Perfect location on the leeward side of the island. Close to the reefs and the best snorkeling, and the most beautiful sunsets.More
