My husband and I stayed four nights . The hotel was extremely clean! Hand sanitizing stations and temp checks at every restaurant. All employees encountered during this stay were very kind! I would like to mention a few: Luis Miguel Nieto, restaurant captain, will greet you every breakfast and lunch with a smile! He was so friendly! Alberto, Augustin and Cesar, were amazing servers! Our bartender, Alex, never left your drink empty! Great job done by all!

No nightly entertainment, bars close at 11 which force you to go to your rooms with nothing todo past 11. Only one restaurant open at a time and the food choices are slim pickings. The bartending staff is not always pleasant. We were top floor so our room view was perfect. Other people’s not so much. Also construction happening on one side of resort. Made the best of our week there because we were still on vacation.

We have shared your comment about the nightly entertainment with the executive team to find a solution on the matter, also we are sorry that due to official disposition we can not provide alcoholic drinks after 11 pm, we are waiting for these to change and increase our nightly time as we used to do before the contingency.
We read with concern the service you received from the staff since is no the usual comment that we used to read, we will work on this to change any behavior that avoids meeting our goal, which is to make our guest feel pamper and well attendant.

Place was quiet.Service was great! Food was good. Weather was spectacular.close to pirate ships.Did a catamaran excursion which was awesome. There’s OXXO’s close by if you need something.Very nice place.Shout out to Pepe,Ada,Carmen,Gerry,Alfredo and Juanita!

This was a trip for my birthday. I’ve been to Cancun at least five other times, but hybrid was my first time staying at the Occidental Costa. Exceptional service for every employee. I will definitely be back for a another stay!!

Pepe Hernandez is a waiter at the resort and he was the kindest, most helpful server we’ve ever had. He constantly went out of his way to make sure our daughter was happy, being a picky eater. He was our most favorite member, out of a truly wonderful staff at the Occidental.
