Front desk general manager Gabriela is very discriminatory towards non Spanish speaking individuals. She accused my family of being against her and an unruly guest who took my pool longer and threw all of my belongings in the grassy area behind the pool. She threatened to kick my family out of the hotel and call the police on us because I asked for assistance, due to a language barrier, after a rude guest took my pool chair, threw my belongings from it, and then refused to give my towel back.(Honestly, I could care less about the towel, but I would be charged $25 a checkout if I didn’t get it back. ) She refused to listen to what I said happened and instead only listened to what the unruly guest was saying in Spanish. So, I asked her to review the cameras so she could see for herself what happened, and her response was it would invade the privacy of the hotel guests. Appalled by Gabriela’s discriminatory remarks and her unprofessionalism, other pool guests offered my family their chairs while the entertainment staff apologized repeatedly to my family regarding Gabriela’s disrespectful actions. The entertainment staff stated how embarrassed they were to work for such a prejudice boss.
