Went for a lunch with colleagues and had a great surprise! the place is small and at the outside nothing interesting to share but the food is deli, the relationship price - value is very good. Just a recommendation, the service and timing is a little slow specially if is full the place. But don´t miss the place.... you wont regret! :)

CEVICHE, CEVICHE. There is only sea food but they also have a few vegetarian options. Portions and prices are really good! The flavors will blow your mind. You have to stop by!

Gladly, someone recommended this amazing place to us. We are fans of ceviche and one of us is a vegan. There is something here for everyone. About 30 different types of aguachiles (shrimp marinated in juice with red onion and cucumber), ceviches (diced white fish marinated in lime juice with veggies and fruit), tuna ceviches (diced tuna marinated in lime juice accompanied with veggies and fruit). They have two different sizes a small and a much bigger plate. They bring a bunch of small crispy toasted tortillas to use as scoops. I think the best option for a group of people would be to order many different smaller portions. There are so many tasty options, so try many. You can order almost any of the dishes as a vegan option. Our favorite vegan dish was the Manzana - green apple, avocado, basil, cucumber, jicama, chile serrano. My favorite others was Coco - jicama, shredded coconut, chile habanero, coconut cream with marinated shrimp and Ensalada - jicama, pineapple, cucumber, onion, sesame, tamarind topping with diced tuna. They have a full bar with most any option for drinks. They also have deserts and we would have loved to try the vegan tart with a base of nuts, almonds, shredded coconut, pumpkin seed, chia and date with a filling of avocado, cocoa and date. A very casual place, open from 12-7 and well worth a stop at least once if not more during your visit to PV.

Thank you Steve, we are glad you get to try our food, it means a lot that our customers talk about the experience you all have in Lamara, thats the more trustable advertise for us. Please next time save some space for the chocolate vegan tart... it is a DELICIA!

This restaurant is located a ways north of the Malecon, not far from the Canto del Sol and Now Amber resorts. They specialize in very good tostadas and naturally flavored waters – all is excellent and well priced. We went a weekday at about 1 PM – the place was filled mainly with locals and we had to wait maybe 10 minutes to get in – a clear sign that the food is very good. The restaurant has clean lines and is not a local dive but a nicer (mid-level) place to go out.

All the tostadas can be made vegan as well as with meats or fish – a real advantage (though you won’t be getting a ton of protein). You order a large plate of toppings or individual tostadas that are themselves heaped very high – I’d suggest for a good lunch you get a couple different tostadas unless you are sharing with others. All was very fresh - delicious. We tried one desert – an excellent chocolate pie as I recall; I don’t remember if they offered any beer or wine.

This is a great choice for people wanting to eat real fresh healthy food or vegan food in town.

This restaurant was one of our favorites on a weeklong trip to Puerto Vallarta. The different flavors of aguachiles were exciting and all so tasty. We especially enjoyed the mango.

Thank you, enjoy the mango because it is seasonal, then you can try the rest of the menu. Greetings!
